VILLAGE OF MAYVILLE

 

COMPLAINT PROCEDURE

       
 

1)  Complaints pertaining to the Village Government and/or an employee of the village should be addressed to the attention of the Village Manager.

 

2)  Complaints may either be mailed or delivered in person to the Manager at:

5950 Fox Street, Mayville, Michigan 48744

 

3)  All complaints must be in writing (typed or hand written) and signed by the complainant.  Please include contact information so a follow up can be conducted.  All other complaints (not hand written) including telephone complaints regarding employees will not be enforced and considered hearsay. 

 

4)  Complaints must include the date and time of the occurrence(s) with an explanation of the situation and the desired outcome that the complainant requests to be done to handle the situation.

 

5)   All signed complaints will be investigated by the Village Manager.

 

6)   By signing and turning in a complaint for action that is false, the complainant may be held responsible by the Village Government and/or the employee for false accusations including but not limited to court action.
