The bid award was $11,365.00 for the installation of a storm sewer system consisting of three (3), two (2) foot wide catch basins and 360 foot of eight (8) inch dual wall plastic pipe. The purpose of the new storm sewer is to capture water runoff from the Fulton Street Buildings and properly drain the water. | |||||

Industrial Park Update: |

The village has shown interest in the future development of an industrial park. The village has been approached by a commercial developer seeking to build a 40,000 square foot building in Mayville with an annual yearly sales amount of $5,000,000 US. This project would also create jobs in Mayville. |

Fire Truck Update: |
The village applied for a Department of Homeland Security Grant for a new 3,000 gallon tanker. The federal grant would be $161,500 (95% of the total project) and the village share would be $8,500 (5% of the total project). The grant has made it to the second stage of the process known as the “preliminary discussion phase.” Hopefully the village will be awarded this grant in 2008/2009 saving the community future dollars in the replacement of vehicles. |
