Mayville Fire Department Mission Statement.

It is the Mission of the Mayville Fire Department to provide professional all-hazard emergency response to our community and the citizens that we serve.

The Mayville Fire Department responds to incidents within an immediate fire district of 76 square miles and currently serves a resident population of 6,499. The Mayville Fire Department consists of 1 Fire Chief, 1 Assistant Chief, 2 Captains, 3 Lieutenants and 24 highly trained and dedicated professionals. We provide an all-hazard emergency response to our community comprised of the following disciplines

*confined space rescue
*technical rope rescue
*ice and water rescue
*building collapse rescue
*vehicle extrication
*hazardous materials response
